One to one developmental tutorials
If you are embarking on a script, novel or other big project you may wish to have an intensive one-to-one workshop on your idea at the planning stage before you invest too much time writing. We will read a treatment/synopsis/sample (up to 2,000 words), give you written notes and a one-hour feedback session so that you can clarify your ideas and goals.

Ideal for writers with a project under way but not yet ready for a full edit or mentoring package. Time and venue can be arranged to suit you. A Chalk the Sun tutor will be allocated according to the nature of your project.

If you want ongoing, more intensive mentoring we offer personalised packages

Writers engaged on novel and script projects can opt for an intensive  personalised mentoring package based around their project. These individualised development packages include written feedback, editing, structure and story analysis by email, Skype and phone plus 121 tutorials. We ask writers to submit an outline/step treatment or synopsis plus a 1,000 word extract for initial assessment of your work and evaluation of your needs to decide how to proceed. This costs £149 for which you receive notes, an initial assessment and, if appropriate, options starting at £300 to help you choose what would be best for you and your work.
