One to one developmental tutorials
If you are embarking on a script, novel or other big project you may wish to have an intensive one-to-one workshop on your idea at the planning stage before you invest too much time writing. We will read a treatment/synopsis/sample (up to 2,000 words), give you written notes and a one-hour feedback session so that you can clarify your ideas and goals.

Ideal for writers with a project under way who may not yet be ready for feedback on a first draft via our manuscript and editing services. Time and venue can be arranged to suit you. A Chalk the Sun tutor will be allocated according to the nature of your project.

Writing for children? Need specialist advice?

It’s not child’s play, in fact writing for kids is more complicated than writing for adults with far more factors to take into account.such as industry guidelines and publishers’ formats. Our specialist team, headed by publisher and children’s editor Simona Sideri, provide MS services and tutorials for all children’s fiction and non-fiction, pre-teen novels and drama, pre-school TV and animations, developing apps, educational games and ebooks.
